Webinar | HyBuild™ LA Phase 2 Report-Out: Advancing the California Hydrogen Hub Vision
HyBuild™ Los Angeles is the Green Hydrogen Coalition’s inaugural initiative to create the first scaled ecosystem for green hydrogen (GH2) in North America, targeting under $2.00/kg delivered GH2 in the LA Basin.
Since its unveiling in 2021, HyBuild LA has made considerable strides in advancing both its educational and market development work scopes in support of the initiative. Outputs from Phase 1 of HyBuild LA included a high-level system plan, cost models, preliminary demand scenarios, policy recommendations, and sample contract and term sheets.
This webinar will unveil findings from Phase 2 activities, including expanded GH2 offtake and related infrastructure needs, including ocean shipping, aviation, and heavy-duty trucking, and potential synergies from connecting Southern California with scaled demand in Northern California via a GH2 pipeline. Phase 2 also tackled water availability, use, and consumption needs. Most importantly, Phase 2 quantified the significant air quality and human health benefits possible from the HyBuild LA vision.
Join GHC staff and industry experts for a deep dive into water use, air quality, and economic development impacts expected from the proposed California GH2 hub.
